Client: Xandra

Xandra is a conversation design studio, authoring the interactions between man and machine—particularly in the rapidly growing field of digital assistants. Their work strives to feel as natural and human as possible, and is very much the work of humans—writers, sound engineers and voice actors, among them. In rebranding their studio, it was important that the identity tread this line as well—feeling both handmade and digital. The Xandra wordmark is made up of a series of dots in a grid pattern creating a clean, minimal logo while evoking the history of computing from early punch cards to dot matrix printing, to pixels, to sound levels. The dot pattern is extended and applied to business cards, letterhead and a website refresh to create a consistent visual vocabulary.
