Wired Illustrations

Client: Wired Magazine

Assorted typographic illustrations for Wired magazine. In "How to Make Stuff," we illustrated a feature article on DIY manufacturing. The custom type was used as titles for each of the material sections, and the feature opener "How To Make Stuff" was 3D printed and photographed for the magazine. For "Flying Blind," about spectrum warfare, we created cryptic type that spoke to the mysterious frontiers of digital weaponry. Following a Wired tradition of illustrating each issue number, for 22.06 (volume 22, issue 6) we created a colorful circuit-like composition, which was presented as an animation for the digital version of the magazine.
