The THING Quarterly: Website

Client: The THING Quarterly

As with many contemporary organizations, the The THING Quarterly’s website is their primary interface with the public, the place that people find when searching for them, and where new subscribers are most likely to learn about them, and join up. So as The THING continued to grow and add projects, they asked us to help them improve and modernize their site. The design of the site follows the aesthetic of packaging and other materials we’ve created; a stripped-down, friendly modernism. Elements were made to be large and simple, and as a storefront, visitors are clearly guided to subscribe, view projects, and to purchase those not yet sold out. The focus of The THING is decidedly non-digital, and is about the joy and surprise of receiving objects in the mail. Here the site becomes partner to that pleasure; facilitating, cataloging, and selling these unique art works.
